ASSETS - After School Program
Free. Drop-in. Open to All FBHS Students in Grades 9–12.
The ASSETs (After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens) program is here to help you succeed. Whether you need to catch up on missed work, get extra help from a teacher, prepare for an upcoming test, or simply find a quiet, supported place to study — ASSETs is your resource.
No appointments. No fees. Just show up.
How ASSETs Works
ASSETs gives students access to teachers and instructional aides who can help with current coursework, missing assignments, test retakes, and more. Policies vary by department — read below to see exactly how ASSETs can help in each of your classes.
When you attend, an ASSETs teacher will sign a note or form confirming your attendance. Bring this to your class teacher as required by your department's policy.
Why Come to ASSETs?
ASSETs is more than just a make-up program. It's a welcoming space where students can:
- Get ahead by working on assignments before they're due
- Catch up after an absence without falling behind
- Ask for help from a real teacher in a low-pressure setting
- Build habits of staying on top of coursework
- Improve grades across all their core classes
All FBHS students are welcome — no referral needed. Just drop in during scheduled hours.
